CHRIS HUDSON

Mr. Hudson has over 20 years of Commercial real estate experience as a builder, developer, investor, and broker. Throughout his tenure, he has managed matters related to the acquisition, design/development, construction (self-perform GC), leasing, management and disposition of his firm’s assets. He’s been instrumental in the acquisition, design and entitlement aspects, as well as the execution of the construction, lease up, and disposition of the projects – ensuring project continuity and execution from start to finish. Mr. Hudson is involved in all aspects of the development lifecycle of his firm’s projects and takes a very hands-on approach to development and management of his firm’s assets. He started his career in the commercial construction industry in San Diego, where he was a project manager for a national commercial General Contractor (Turner Construction). In 2011, he moved to Houston, TX where he founded HUDCON, and where he spent the last 15 years developing and building all asset classes, in all major markets across Texas. Mr. Hudson holds a bachelor’s degree in business finance and Entrepreneurship from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA – where he was an All-American Collegiate Golfer.

Mr. Tate brings over 24 years of institutional real estate experience as an investor, developer, and advisor to REITs, pension funds, banks, and high-net-worth investors. Mr. Tate has been a partner in multiple complex developments in which he has spearheaded acquisition, capitalization, entitlement, and asset management activities, including securing entitlements for complex multifamily developments in Texas and Southern California. Previously, he held Vice President roles at Colliers International and Cushman & Wakefield, where he sourced, underwrote, leased, and sold ground up office and industrial development and investment projects exceeding $300 million. He holds a B.S. in Management Information Systems from Point Loma Nazarene University.

Mr. England is a commercial growth leader who specializes in scaling go-to-market strategies and managing strategic partnerships. He brings over 24 years of organizational leadership experience across consulting (ex-Deloitte), business development, and client relationship management. Mr. England has consistently driven revenue growth, led multidisciplinary teams, and spearheaded complex organizational transformations. In his current role with Cantera, he leads capital markets and investor relations, expanding equity partnerships that help inform and add value across the firm’s development portfolio. Mr. England holds a B.S. from TCU, a Master of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College, and an MBA with Finance concentration from Baylor University. Mr. England is a U.S. Army combat veteran and serves as a Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve.

Director
Mr. Kokernot serves as Director at Cantera Capital, where he is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and executing multifamily development opportunities across the firm’s footprint. He has more than 10 years of commercial real estate experience with a focus on multifamily development, acquisitions, capital markets, and asset management, spanning publicly traded firms and family office platforms. Mr. Kokernot graduated from the University of Mississippi with degrees in Real Estate and Finance. A native Houstonian and seventh-generation Texan, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling, cooking, and being outdoors.
